Wordsworth is the greatest nature poet of England. While other English poets took delight only in the external aspects of Nature. Wordsworth sought in natural objects the indwelling spirit of God. He beloved that nature could give a personal health, beauty, and grace of body.

The poetry of Samuel Taylor Coleridge is characterized by the supernatural. The natural, we can know and understand because it is material, physical- but the supernatural is beyond the grasp of the physical senses- it is imaterial, spiritual. Coleridge is thoroughly romantic in this conception of the supernatural. He creates a new and exotic beauty from the images stored in his imagination.
George Gordon, Lord Byron said that he had been "born for opposition". In spite of his tendency to dramatize himself, to strike an attitude, he could be remarkably clear-sighted about himself, and this phrase sums up the central aspect of his life and his work. He rebels against the norms of society and of the literary culture of his age.
P.B.Shelley was born revolutionary spirit ,dreamt of new society was always at war with existing world of complete coach and confusion.The age of romanticism is one of the great and frightful uprising French revolution.It had deep impact on Shelley's mind and became passionate singer of revolution.
Keats was deeply sensitive to beauty.All poets love beauty. But they have strong moral and social intentions also. But Keats was devoid of such concerns. He is preoccupied with the ways in which beauty manifests itself or declines.The aesthetic school of poets who actually built on the Keatsian primacy of beauty.
